The NS SERIES consists of either single cultures or blends of Arthrobacter, Nocardia and various Bacilli. The products are NS-20, NS1O-20, NS2O-20, NS1O-30 and NS5O-20. These products are designed for treating industrial and hazardous wastes from waste streams, spills, etc. through bioremediation. Suggested applications are described below:

NS20	For single chemical waste streams; The primary mode of action is to degrade benzene, toluene, other aromatic hydrocarbons with hydroxylated & nitrogenated groups, octane, ethane, ethanol, and other short-chained hydrocarbons. Other chemicals also metabolized are salicylic acid, biphenols, xylols, phenoxy alcohols, mineral oils, lubricating oils, kerosene, surfactants, gasoline and pentachlorophenol.
NS10-20	Intermediate length alkyl hydrocarbons and alcohols, fatty acids, benzoic acid and citrus oils.
NS20-20	Complex dyes, lignins, starchy complexes, carbohydrate by-product waste, structural board and pressboard waste, distillery waste, wood preservative waste, cresols, creosote, naphthylene, any heterogeneous aromatic hydrocarbon waste.
NS10-30	Treating fuel oils, intermediate levels of moderate molecular-weight hydrocarbons contamination in soil or aqueous environments, heavier machine oil, heavy grade lubricating oil.
NS50-20	Protein complex wastes, oleaginous waxes or fats containing wastes, wastes with fats and oils and dissolved aromatics, hydrocarbons linked with amines, glycerol esters.

The NS SERIES have been shown to be more resistant to heavy metal content than other products. Growth on petrochemical compounds and their concurrent biodegradation occur even when 100 mg.IL of cadmium, arsenic, copper, iron, lead, tin, zinc, cobalt, selenium and sliver are present.

The NS SERIES are able to sustain growth over a wide range at temperatures from 45 degrees Celsius to temperatures approaching refrigeration an a large number of carbon

The NS SERIES are comprised of immobilized bacteria with special nutrients and stabilizers in a dry granular form or as an aqueous concentrate. The products are stable for months as long as they are kept dry, cool and not exposed to freezing conditions.
