MAINTAIN D

MAINTAIN-D  is a scientifically blended dry concentrate of five specially selected and cultured bacteria plus enzymes, which under favorable conditions will digest and liquefy organic wastes. This process will unclog drain lines, grease traps, vent pipes and stacks, air conditioning cooling towers, etc. Retreatment on a regular preventive maintenance schedule will keep these operating properly.

INGREDIENTS Aspergillus oryzae, Bacillus subtilis (2 strains), Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus polymxa, Bacillus licheniformis, wheat bran.
SPECIFICATIONS 1 Billion aerobic and 1 Billion facultative anaerobic bacteria per gram of product.
ENZYME SPECIFICATIONS 23,000 CDU/g.; 52,000 MWU/g.; 260 Lipase Units/g.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS Tan free flowing powder, Bulk density 29-35 lb. per cu. Ft.; Mesh size: 98% through 15 mesh; Moisture Content: Less than 15%
RECOMMENDED USAGE LEVELS:
GREASE TRAPS For best results, start program immediately after pumping grease trap. If this is not possible, first add 1 lb. /25 cu. Ft. (.5 Kg./8 cu. Meters) capacity directly to grease trap and wait two days before beginning daily treatment. Place this container close to line which goes into grease trap. At the close of business each day, add 50 grams to each line or, into a holding tank which leads into the grease trap. For grease traps with volumes of 25 cu. Ft. (8 cu. Meters) or less, use 2 oz. (50 grams) per day. Use an additional 2 oz. (50 grams.) per additional 25 cu. Ft. (8 cu. Meters) of grease trap volume.
DRAIN LINES Place this container in a convenient location so that daily additions to the drain lines can be made. The daily application rates are based on the inside diameter of the pipe as follows: 2in.(5cm)-4oz.(100 g.); 4 in.(10cm.)-8 oz. (200 g.); 6 in.(15cm.)-12 oz. (350g.); 8 in. (20 cm.)- 16 oz. (1 lb..) Experience may show that after the drain line is free of grease, the application rates can be reduced.
DOWN LINES/ STACKS First, pour into the basement sump the same amount as for sizes of grease traps above. Next, if there is no blockage in the down lines, go to the roof and pour one pint in one gallon of warm water down each stack once a week. This will gradually work its way down the sump. If there is a blockage, locate and start application one floor above. As soon as blockage is removed, start applications on the roof. This product will not clear up blockages of wood, clothing or inorganic materials.
