AO
AO is a special Aspergillus oryzae fermentation product designed to provide the highest levels of fungal alpha-amylase and a source of (UGF’s) unidentified fermentation factors (UGF’s) for animal feed applications. The UGF activity is the highest in any product available and is capable of surviving the pelleting process. AO can be mixed with other DFM (Direct-fed Microbial) ingredients with complementary enzyme activities or, used as a stand alone ingredient as suggested in the recommended usage table below.
Ingredients: Dried Aspergillus oryzae fermentation Product, Wheat Bran, Wheat middlings.
Specifications: 900 SKB/g (depending on product version).
Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein, not less than 14% . Crude fiber, not less than 6%. Ash not more than 7%. Moisture, not more than 10%
Recommended usage levels
Dairy: Calculate feeding rate to give 4 grams per head per day starting 30 days before freshening and continuing throughout the lactation cycle. For calves, feed 1.3 grams/head/day starting at first solid feed. For non-lactating dairy cattle, feed 3 grams/head/day.
Beef: Feed 3 grams/head/day. For calves feed 1.3 grams/head/day.
Swine: Feed 1.3-4 lbs/ton (.7-2 Kgs./MT) of finished feed to all classes starting at first solid feed.
Poultry: Layers-Feed 1.3-4 lbs/ton (.7-2 Kgs./MT) of finished feed starting at first egg laying. Broilers- 3-4 lbs/ton (1.3Kg./MT) of finished feed starting at first solid feed.
Method of Analysis for Quality Assurance: MWU and SKB methods.
