Product: Hemicellulase is an enzyme which is derived from a fungal source. This enzyme is useful in hydrolyzing galactomannoglucans, mannans, and glucomannans.
Hemicellulose is a primary component of most plant cell walls. Hemicellulase will hydrolyze this component and is thus useful for a variety of applications including the viscosity reduction of coffee extract for instant coffee production, gum viscosity reduction and modification, and cell wall breakdown for silage treatments.
Appearance: Hemmicellulase is supplied as an off white powder with a slight fermentation odor. The product is standardized to 20,000 HCU/gram.
Storage & Packaging: Please inquire about our available packaging options. This product should be kept in a cool dry location. The drum should be kept closed when not in use. Exposure to high humidity and temperature is not recommended.
